Make a TOC (table of contents) the proper way in Indesign. You only have to fill in title, author, description, keywords, copyrights. Add the cover as page 1, as big as the page. Use the option “rasterize cover” while exporting. You can also add the inside of the cover in the same way.Full colour images will display as greyscale on greyscale devices. If you prefer full colour images instead of greyscale, just update all your images. If a text frame, textual diagram or scheme is very complicated, you better convert it to an image.Page numbers, headers and footers are all unwanted in ereaders and will disappear ![]() ![]() Master page items will disappear, so if you want them to display you have to manually override them.Multiple spaces and returns are not rendered anyway in epub. Use Space Before for every style that need space before, such as headings. Find/Change From the Query list, choose Multiple Return to Single Return. Click Change All.For editing you will need to know your HTML and CSS. After export, you can edit the epub file (which is basically a ZIP containing HTML and CSS) in Sigil (free) or Oxygen (paid). Add the Publisher in the Export dialogue. If you don’t use the Articles Panel, just choose Export > epub.Export to epub using this Articles panel > flyout options This way you can also leave out items you don’t want (page numbers etc). If the order of items is not correct, use Articles panel in Indesign and drag all items in there. If it’s not in the text-flow, the item will be placed at the end of the document, outside the flow. I mention this because you have to be patient. I did not have to add it to the XQuartz application list. Launching Wireshark nothing appeared to happen for 1 minute 24 seconds before the main window appeared. I then re-installed XQuartz and Wireshark. This morning I uninstalled XQuartz and Wireshark and restarted, returning to a clean state. I finally got it running but wasn't sure what actions helped. Tried a couple more times (from the Doc 'Applications', etc.) and saw success each time.īy the way, I later tried to get Wireshark running on another Mac running Mavericks. I exited all and then double-clicked Wireshark in the Applications folder. After 12-20 seconds, Wireshark launched from that menu displayed its main window. In its Applications menu I added Wireshark as one of the items using the "/Applications/Wireshark.app/Contents/MacOS/Wireshark" path. I knew I had the latest XQuartz 2.7.5 so I launched it. What did work was a suggestion found here: Next, I deleted the '/opt/X11' hierarchy and reinstalled XQuartz. I quit Wireshark and XQuartz and reinstalled XQuartz and saw no change in behaviour. I am running Mavericks and the items suggested here did not work for me.
